二O一一年開始，我翻譯了不少童言童語的感謝信
今天收到的翻譯案件，是二十封再見信
ROM編號的計畫區要關閉了多年的資助與來往要結束了

孩子們的字句，充滿了感恩與不捨
我讀著打著，心裡很是沉重感慨
孩子們感謝資助人的慷慨善良
孩子們珍惜著卡片、學校黑板與書本
孩子們希望長大後要跟資助人一樣幫助其他人
資助人的付出孩子回報以祝福美滿

我是何其幸運
有份充實有趣的工作
生在豐饒的土地雖然窘迫擁擠卻有繽紛豐富的蔬菜水果
孩子們只能吃豆子跟玉米捲餅
我何其幸運
見過高山深谷才體會平原的恩惠
廣過的資源歡樂的讀書會陪我學好英文
於是我得以參與翻譯心中有所感動

連續加班了六天
趕著送了件
趕著教育訓練的簡報
趕著回應代理商跟原廠的信件

終於禮拜六在還有著夕陽餘暉的時候踏上回家的路
走著忠孝東路二段回家是很舒適的一段路
下完雨柏油路已經沒有積水
潮濕的紅磚潮濕的行道樹
沐浴過後的城市週末的放鬆的人們

到家了找媽去吃京站吃火鍋
其實我好累好累好幾天都晚睡
沒辦法加班過後還是想為自己做些什麼充點電
然後就是半夜一兩點了
但是我在晚上六點又喝了咖啡

為了跟媽出去走走

先煮了水餃給老弟又餵了哈樂帶她去走了一圈

媽沒去過京站我也只有路過或是目的性的路過
我們開心地逛著食物櫃因為火鍋店看起來要排隊好久
看了媽最近很愛的麵包看了我要拿來當生日饗宴的Macaron
看了很多奢侈的精品的咖啡巧克力冰淇淋手工香皂衣飾....
晚上不斷說著話說我們的公司說老爸跟老弟
最後日式的火鍋不是很合媽的胃口她喜歡吃有沙茶的

回到家我終於可以好好的睡一大覺
因為明天沒有什麼消耗能量的工作
瞬間睡著
儘管媽還在看株式會社哈樂也趴在旁邊說夢話
我還是能很有天份的瞬間睡著
(我快要把實習醫生又看完一輪了接下來看Glee, TBBT, DA)

yes I have been back for quite a long time,
though the life just starts to be normal for me now....
I know, even I have got a job offer,
and used to an OL life... for three months.

I think that is why I now fit in to so-called home.
I denied.
I struggled.
I accept.

Recently I read a series of articles about reverse culture shock. I did not know how to deal with my depression at first. The only thing I did was keeping busy, busy joining English speaking group, busy preparing for the IELTS, busy approaching new fields and new people, busy fill up my mind.

I realised there were few who are interested in my experience, so I kept my life-changing trip to myself. John told me so before he got back last year, I mean he departed and was back again~ It could be weird to be back.\ Things and folks are way too normal, too boring. In these articles, even a supermarket is just exotic one.

I was not understanding why people in my place could just focus on these tiny pieces? Are they blind and deaf? Are they dump in the heart? However I took my way to memorise my terrific books. Which are kind of silly, but they worked. I seeked similar food, I hid from the crowd, I plunged myself into English Until now, I am still so comfortable shopping some cooking material in a quiet mall. Then all these bit are mentioned in the RES articles. I think I did right.

These article are touching, really. I smiled or shed my tears as I just comprehend all the emotion, massive bitness. But I think I will be understanding next time. I will not be that 'shocked' next time. It takes a while, but it's worth it. Return is a part of the itinerary.

You probably have known about kiwifruit packhouse from other wwoofers, friends, or internet. But I still tell you the story- Johan in Te Puke.

The story is Johan ran a kiwifruit hostel.
She arranged every 36/30/48/44 kiwifruits into every 36/30/48/44-bed dorm room., and made them lie neatly.
Some of them stay in bunk dorms, so bottom first then top ones.
Johan’s hostel has 30k guests today! (see if the guests are big or small)
If nothing wrong with the room, like wrong number of beds for a group, wrong size, broken room, that will be OK.
But no worries about the number and size, the central machine is like the flow cytometry, nearly less than 1% miss.
The problem was the tour bus never stopped dropping off guests in front of the hostel.
So in the hot season, Johan had a kiwifruit mountain. No, it’s landslide!

I know we are great, and always figure something out. Or I expect too much challenge so I feel boring now. Is staying with idiot rolling kiwi another challenge? Maybe what I need to learn now is to realize that life can’t be always surprising….
I’d like to lead a open-minded life, but the ordinary packhouse confused me.
I can never enjoy discussing the fruit and the gossip and the asian food.
THAT’S NOT WHAT I ORDERED IN NEW ZEALAND!

所以明天就結婚一個月了哈哈

three days travelling....
I didn't enjoy quite much about what books recommend
I enjoy having a mochaccino, spreading my spirit on the grass, all the afternoon.
so I had fun with nobody.
I enjoy running hither and thither on the beach, chasing and being chased by the water.
but nobody had fun with me.
I enjoy walking alone in the big garden, and murmur/criticize about the weird design
with somebody i didn't know.

受了好多人幫助

RURU COTTAGE的LIFT GB->motueka
只在往鎮上另一頭又有GALLERY的老闆->載我到RUBY BAY

在RUBY BAY的商店等一會又有健談的阿伯
開心聊了整路很有內容到了->NELSON

NELSON雖然又走又等了2.5小時
但遇到一個Irish boy，他也很健談，good company makes route short!
我們從錯身而過的打招呼，後來一起HITCH
他在家有保留的一份工作
也很OPENMIND的出來探險!

最後載我們KIWI 人超好帶我們去PELORUS RIVER 休息一小段
在車上也是很好聊雖然我聽不懂他的腔
Beg pardon 聽起來像 BIG pardon

一路也是過了一個月前的havelock queen challotte drive
想到那美麗的小港峽灣還有跟sophia的巧遇爬山
還有從havelock 到motueka 他hitch我搭兩光巴士在nelson又碰面

Motueka那原本不怎樣的換宿，都有了回憶
晚上的廚房出門那段清靜的路….
一層層疊過 OAMARU的企鵝及徘徊
櫻桃的困窘還有那時的心動那時的很糟的身體

到了PICTON熟悉的港口小城是我第一次HITCH ALONE的地方
是我重遇學hitch 法國爺爺Remy的地方是我重整拋下行李的地方
很累領回行李當天也沒有整理吃吃東西去fresh Choice
隔天整理發現好多雜物….

整理完 CHECK OUT 去圖書館外面的椅子上網
我已經覺得露天坐在那很OK了
很背包式的浪漫我現在很想好好的找個角落切很多蕃茄洋蔥 HERB CUCUMBER 做沙拉煮一頓飯烤大版燒
寄了MAIL給朋友們還有JOHN
因為1/3的旅程還挺平順除了不想離開INNLET….

早早的去FERRY CHECK In 邊等候邊觀察邊寫心得
陽光燦燦的旅行緩緩退後的峽灣很美卻不是最重要的
到了威靈頓
我挑戰自己省錢的能力連SHUTTLE也沒搭住宿也沒定
就拖著行李對著地圖網RAILWAY STATION去
火車站OK 但不能過夜

開始在漸冷漸黑的天色中問住宿但不是太貴就是遠或是滿了
這時的我一直以為我的巴士是早上八點還要扣除我再拖行李去等車的時間
所以我一直不想往太市中心走
漫無目的只是要找個SHELTER 順邊晃晃也許BBH有機會
但其實越拖行李就越不甘心在花錢住
只希望有個24小時的咖啡店 BAR 等等

路上去了歐風MALL 還有心情照相
等天更黑路開始上坡兩隻手掌輪流拖行李都痛了肩膀也揹背包背得鐵了
連臗關節也好像拐得怪怪的

在走向ROSEMERE的路上
有一對COUPLE看我全身家當還對地圖好心問我是迷路了嗎 ?
are you all right?
在該死陡坡柏油路我倒著走好拉行李
又有另一對朋友看我快撞上路燈喊我停下來，我自己也覺得好笑，
她們也說為什麼backpacker要開在hill上
(我也想像monique去courthouse打工，但是他們四月也要冬季關門了)
總之氣喘吁吁的再度問不到住宿他們要我去wellywood問

我走到半路就放棄走向burger king 他門上寫著 8am-6am
應該ok的我挑了一個會看見去櫃檯點餐必經的坐位坐下
吃了一餐也許凌晨再來杯咖啡

只是越晚越多NIGHT PEOPLE 狂歡微醉鬧事又非常吵
我靜靜的閱讀不想示弱
指針八點十點十二點
甚至有個怪女故意從椅子上跌下搞笑故意說椅子壞掉
還跟店員保全吵架打起來揮拳甩巴掌罵髒話亂踢朋友也攔不住
亂糟糟的夜晚連警察也來了也不斷在巡邏
來紐西蘭五個月還沒看過警察工作? 也許我都呆在太寧靜的地方了

有個阿伯是我覺得最正常最有溫度的人走過最合tone
這個晚上我第一次微笑
後來快兩點了時候阿伯到我對面坐下
問我會不會說英文
比了我的行李問我晚上去哪住
我說都滿了也許在這呆到天亮去搭巴士
阿伯說兩點之後他們就會趕人了
問我試過哪幾家要不要去YMCA試試看
我其實想在BK觀察整晚的也不想再走路再扛東西了
但好心阿伯幫我拿食物袋跟背包
領著我去YHA
路上還是像信義區晚上的PARTY NIGHT
年齡層is by my age even older

I don’t feel belonging to the field
It’s never fit into for me
It’s not my tone, my type
I’m quiet, I walk alone, I’m strange, but I do no harm
問了阿伯她說這就是正常的Friday night

I miss The Innlet very much and of course unlike Dan’s cheeky missing way
I felt very healthy there, every breath through my lung, every sound wave in my ears.
Everything is so clear, so pure
It’s so calm, so peaceful

It was getting late and my head was getting blank
The lovely garden and workshop, the bridge and the creek, my castle and the little lighthouse were getting clear in my mind.

When it’s 8 o’clock, it’s time to have a cup of tea and chat in the lounge.
When it’s 10 o’clock, it’s time to jump into the cozy bed and watch a nice film.
When it’s 12 o’clock, it’s time to say good night to the starry sky.
When it’s 2 o’clock, it’s time to have a sweet dream. and bath in the moonlight.

The homeless night in Capital is all my stupid and lazy fault.
我把希望放在這capital, 以為可以補足物資的，卻因為我把自己搞得無家可歸
只能帶著行李跑，汗流浹背還不能洗澡….

阿伯很好心的把事情原委告訴yha的night staff，
Angus from UK
他說YHA滿了，但他偷偷讓我留在STAFF ROOM，而他晚上值班都會在外面
於是，經過這兩個溫暖了人的幫助，我有三個小時的床可以躺下休息。我想沒有阿伯用NATIVE SPEAKING跟長輩的解釋，我應該還是得wander all night的!
一開始在BK只覺得像是台灣的跨年夜，喧嘩熱鬧，很沒有安全感，什麼東西都接近沒電了，離開座位又要帶著重要的家當，沒有朋友照看。

隔天一大早還是我的笨，我記錯巴士時間，也沒有抄到，以為是八點，還自己嚇自己以為，13小時車程是8am-9pm，發現竟是8pm到達，所以應該要7am出發，一整個挫! 到了火車站找不到車，7710 double seven one o,是12點?! 我跟了再等車的人聊天，打發我的笨哆出來的時間，也很幸運我是記早了，不是記晚了!

還是花了力氣跟錢去isite上網查信，應該發了很多簡訊在求救上吧….
確定了車子的時間，也收到dan回簡訊說是12點….
總之為了車子我也是問了好幾次憑著抄得亂亂的紙本跟模糊的一個禮拜前的印象，上了車，一切都輕鬆了，睡睡醒醒，下車休息，吃著水果，與DAN的愛心餅乾，
晚上八點，SALLY把我接到UNCLE JIM 房東的HOUSE.有了自己的床，衣櫃，櫃子，桌椅，可以好好洗個澡，吃個簡單的東西，好好把東西分門別類，好好記下這幾天的事情，MAKE MYSELF FRESH!

EVERYONE WITHOUT CAR comes here with the same tired journey.
I went straight to save money and get more staying in the Innlet.
That’s what I chose, what I made some difference.

早上如常早起沖澡整理一些廚房客廳的東西
今天大家都要走了留空間給婚禮的人
Bob要離開到四月才回來中間會去Arrowtow Shotover River “gold mining”

housekeeping依然發揮perfect team work!
生活要多層面的接收
賺錢溫飽只是一小部份
不需要富足不需要複雜
這次把行李留在picton 其實還是帶了”太多”
還很多用不上又捨不得丟又懶得carry的東西
回到innlet連電腦都有點懶得開機用 seems to be quite OK

3/1一大早逃離Motueka背著有點重的背包電腦睡袋羽絨衣食物帶
還有hitchhiking card 走半小時去綠色牌子等車
三分鐘就有一台車把我載到kaiteriteri junction
然後在那個junction我等了半小時快耗盡我的smiling n singing bank
等到Derek，他是要去collingwood，但在takak他要去拜訪學生
因為剛好是12點多，我跟他說如果沒遇到innlet的朋友，我再回來找他
不過有在isite等到John
一整天運氣都很好，遇到好人，遇到開心的事…..
一點半前就回到Innlet了，還沒下車，就看到Bob，
Bob記得我是Johan，被記得的感覺很溫暖!

今天突然就day-off
Being a friend doesn’t need day-off

Cycle to not really somewhere is not so important

回來之後，JOHN在當WWOOFER，TENT SITEs ARE full
所以不是鋼琴上就是餐桌上

早上DAN去COLLINGWOOD
所以討論起了Affair，divorce，shun…..
晚餐吃LATTUCE 因為DAN忘記買FISH N CHIP一直被DALIA攻擊
順便討論旅行家庭的平衡

回房間之後又問了DAN

他說他媽認為他四十歲了應該要有家有車有妻小有好工作
會跟親戚比較但是他不是個會去想他什麼還沒有什麼還缺的人
然後聊起了旅行 BACKPACKER HALFFULL 不太忙有空間互動又不太冷清
我說他因為很愛說話很激動很活潑所以看起來很YOUTHFUL
動不動就說GOD IT’S OOXX
PLANS CAN BE CHANGED AND FEEL EXCITED!
TO HAVE SOMETHING SURPRISING

而且回到INNLET是一個熟悉的地方可以跟JOHN BOB DAN AND DALIA說話而不需要從頭自我介紹reperat
有工作卻不是為了PAYMENT 而是要讓自己FEEL BETTER，BEING USEFUL
DALIA把DAN的巧克力藏在沙發裡
KILL EACH OTHER

認真聊天之後才發現dan的成熟，有想法之處
而且情感很真摯很投入賣力 CAN BE SERIOUS WHEN I NEED TO BE
Innlet真的像個家可以being rude 可以釋放情感
就連今天去pillarpoint看見翠綠的山巍峨的石都超級感動

離開了Arrowtown Poplar Lodge，開始深刻想念那裡的日子，除了有一次徒步去Frankton New World之後宅在旅館Room 1看影片覺得很無聊，其他日子都是超級舒適，悠哉，歡樂。踏出房門就可以吃早餐，離開BBH一下下就可以走track，天空常常很藍，到處都很寧靜宜人，路邊茂盛的花跟翠綠的樹，還有很多好朋友，兼具成熟又瘋狂的同事Mel，直率爆笑室友Emily，新同事泰國女孩Pan & S，還有英國的親切爺爺奶奶。

這35天，不用拖行李扛背包，浴室到房間不用被室外降溫，床鋪乾淨整齊，隨時可以泡杯熱茶或咖啡，開始旅行起來，一切都變得不方便，不悠閒，多了新奇體驗吧! 跟Mel道別的一幕，想起來還是有點催淚，雖然隔天馬上又回去拿忘在Mel車上的tripod，在Mel上班的Willow Café相見，一整的大笑不停^___^

石牌夜市的香氣，商家播放的音樂，榮總的老派福利社，向日葵感情蛋
有一點想念
台北的繁榮，全聯在附近，家樂福在附近，大潤發在附近，頂好在附近

充實的壓力，八點半要開會，開會完檢查老鼠，做實驗討論DATA，配藥洗試管
有一點想念
繁瑣的溫暖，餵哈樂吃飯，洗碗倒垃圾，跟哈樂去散步，掃狗毛看報紙

留學，在海外度過寒冬的女孩子
一開始的嫉妒，到現在的學習
不怕，做自己，面對選擇，面對欲望，面對自己的缺陷
小氣，沒有安全感，猶豫不決，害羞，貪心，還會碎念抱怨
也許是很幸運的在一開始就有了新的概念
然後走下去是作風不太一樣的路
簡單的路比較好學
New way充滿的未知
從MALIN就第一次看到 western的旅行模式沒周全繁擾的規劃
在golden bay的那群working holiday德國朋友們也是自由漂流
該努力時要火力全開
那麼我就漂到一個開始努力的地方!

House sitting in Naseby, I experienced the life after my parents' age.
Wwoofing in Wellington Masterton, I see the model a bit later my age.

To make it good,
to make it sweet.

I must do those before I know to be afraid of.
Not want to be afraid, but feel like less and less courage.
less and less boiling bubbles in my vessel.
At least I'm strong and brave so far.
At least I'm pushing myself to try hard.

Such little patience I have, I'm glad to achieve step by step.

I was at home. There's an earthquake,
and lots of stones falling down and pilng up to my neighbors .
So I conjectured IT WAS VOLCANIC ERUPTION!

I was going to run.
In the dream, my mum was still working,
my dad was busy fixing something with a screw driver and not aware.
and all inhabitants in our lane were terrified.
My brother returned to be 4 y/o but a good child.
Halo the dog could SPEAK MANDARIN, and gave me opinions.
She said,"this is more important, take it!"
but still she was not able to hold anything without thumb like every other dogs.

I am still leading a quiet life in Methven....
That's good, good for me to figure out/ get rid of the noise.
I don't need to communicate too much with myself,
Mostly I have quite enough already!

Even the future is not clear for the time being,
I'll see when I step into it.

I love to stay in a hostel than in a flat.
It is wider kitchen, wider shower, wider londge, wider connection!
Probably I'll open a hostel somewhere when I finish what has been going on in my mind.
Come and stay, be a wwoofer.
It will be as nice as my wedding.
I'm running it with love and passion.

So,
Stop thinking of too much break and holiday or working holiday.
Stop limitting in what has just been seen and experienced.
After these I'm well trained!

It is quite interesting to work in different hostel.
There are four hostels, five times, 90 days so far for me in NZ.

First one Poplar Lodge in Arrowtown was super neat, and took hygiene very serious! I don’t mean other hostels are insanitary, just they didn’t mention that much of it.
We did wipe every sparkle, every handle of windows/doors/shelves/drawers, everything would be touched by guests. We polish the shower, the tap to make them shining. We used many chemicals with cloths in specific orded, and each room had its own pattern of sheets.We never mixed, and we always fold them a perfect set after laundry….. We also spent lots time waiting them dry when the hostel was busy. But it is as beautiful as a hotel, it was the best spruce hostel I stayed in NZ.

Second one The Innlet in Golden Bay was so sweet, so warm, so non-logic, that is to say – so artistic and natural. But it didn’t matter! It is the most lovely place, and my happiest time in New Zealand. That’s why I went there twice, and maybe three, four…..not that much chemicals. Not that many ADs, but much laughters, talking, and beach.

I don’t have much to say about the one in Motueka. In fact, I just stayed there for 8 days, and happily went back to the Innlet! Motueka is a town for apples, similar as Te Puke for kiwis. So it was reasonable to full of workers, Asian workers. That’s not great! I worked just little bit time a day, and felt ….. not too much.

So The Innlet again,
I knew I was quite bad at patience,
But I was never disappointed in the Innlet.
Just always got a new job when I met my sweetest lucky star philosopher Dalia. (a long title, isn’t it?)

Then of course we’ll skip the gap of kiwis, excuding nice meeting with Dan and Dalia in Auckland / airport. That did rescue me away from those flat packhouse.

Now what comes up to me is youth hostel in Methven Snow Denn Lodge, a cute peaceful place. We have 6 wwoofers, and four speak Mandarin, but actually you can’t hear too much here. That’s good for me, I don’t need to practice Mandarin. I’m good enough. It is a moderate one between the Poplar Lodge and The Innlet. It has both clean facility and sweet people. But, the funny thing is- we have lots inside out duvets! And they are sealed…..looks like we’ll never wash them and turn them over! We’ll see what goes on!

I was just saying, clean the hostel with love and passion, like Ruru Cottage, like for the wedding of myself. And I still know it is not real interesting article, even I doubt if I’d write it down in Chinese…. Come and stay where I'm working at.

German Thai style dumpling

Fish heads and frames and dill for stock.
Filterred stock with some oil from the fish.

Boiled the potatoes and onions and celery and chilli oil and white wine.
Fish meat at the last few minites for keeping them juicy.

Eggs and sifted flour and water and spicery and salt mix to semi liquid.
Put the dumpling glue into the fish stock and stir gently.

Add coconut cream and evaporated milk and butter.
Taste GREAT!

WOW it has been three months ago that i was here last time,
the Chch central library, and the Asian supermarket.

PCN-Havelock-Motueka-Golden Bay-Wellongton-Te Puke in between.
Train, Hitchhike, Ferry, Plane on my own in between!

Well done so far....
Just too much luggage, not really a backpacker!
I was so excited to fly, and want to fly to more places!

50 days in Bay of plenty north island, but not plenty at all.
that is why I'm silent, even under pen.

i'm flying down south tomorrow
what did I do since last post when I just arrived on north island?

kiwi battles, rolling all day and running a kiwi avalanche hostel
i didn't read, cook, watch films, walk around too much....
and now rush to south to make new stories.

in easter holidays we went to coromendal and whitomo and hamilton
then i went to Auckland twice to see off Dan and Dalia
and after that the third time in Akl is my send-off, three weeks in a row,
including Rotorua changing bus and Hamilton Bus Station.

anyway thank you kiwis makes me be able to meet Dan and Dalia again
and to fly to the new pages.

Golden Bay The Innlet

I went back at golden bay my favorite the innlet on 1st March and enjoy a lot as well
and left on 18th March.
I hitched four rides from golden bay to motueka to ruby bay to nelson to picton,
and had waited in nelson for damn 2.5hr……
Now I’m going to te puke in North Island,
probably I’ll be there until June….

The homeless night wandering in Wellington the Capital is all mystupid and lazy fault.
I carried all my stuff and walked up and down for 3hrs.
I stopped at a Burger King at 8pm and decided to stay until morning,
at least it's indoor and a food store.

I chose a seat which I can watch everyone going to the counter.
Friday night is a crazy party night.
Night people were noisy and drunk.
Even a girl fell from the chair on purpose and shouted and fought withthe security personnel.

It was getting late and my head was getting blank
Around 2am, an old kiwi man came in.
He was the only one I felt with temperature and similar tone,
so Igave him a small smile.
After he finished his meal, he came over and sat down.
he asked if I can speak English, and brougut me to the youth hostel.

There were still many party people on the street.
I don’t feel belonging to the field
It’s not my tone, my type so far
Of course the YHA was full, but he asked the night staff to let mestay at couch.
And the nice night staff, who is also from England, let me stay in hisstaff house.
So I had a quiet and safe night shelter.

And another thing, my bus was not an early bus.... I even can take mytime.....stupid....
Now I am in Te Puke safe and sound, my landlord Uncle Jim & Antae Vesey’s house.
He's also a British. I'm so lucky to have all your help and care.
This is a nice house, tidy and convenient.
(這之中有許多地名，地名，只對踩過那塊土地，發生過回憶的旅人有意義....所以要是有紐西蘭地圖大致上是在南島的北岸最尖端往東一整條跨到北島，紐西蘭首都威靈頓，及中部東北的Te Puke，暫時落腳兩三個月的地方)
這三天受了好多人幫助18號禮拜四RURU COTTAGE KIWI couple的lift GB->motueka
在往鎮上另一頭又有GALLERY的老闆KIWI->載我到RUBY BAY
在RUBY BAY的商店等一會又有健談的阿伯開心聊了整路
很有內容聊了很多研究實驗閱讀心得有機農業
阿伯是個很有哲理的KIWI到了->NELSON
最慘的就是這一段又走又等了2.5小時
幾乎超過我這兩個月等候的總時間
但遇到一個Irish boy，他也很健談，good company makes route short!
我們從錯身而過的打招呼，後來一起HITCH
最後載我們KIWI 人超好帶我們去PELORUS RIVER 休息一小段
在車上也是很好聊雖然我聽不懂他的腔Beg pardon 聽起來像 BIG pardon
一路也是過了一個月前的havelock queen challotte drive
想到那美麗的小港峽灣還有跟sophia的巧遇
爬山還有從havelock 到motueka 他hitch我搭兩光巴士在nelson又碰面
Motueka那原本不怎樣的換宿，都有了回憶晚上的廚房出門那段清靜的路…
.一層層疊過 OAMARU的企鵝及徘徊櫻桃的透支及困窘

到了PICTON熟悉的港口小城是我第一次HITCH ALONE的地方
是我重遇學hitch remy法國爺爺的地方
是我重整拋下行李的地方
隔天 CHECK OUT 去圖書館外面的椅子上網
覺得露天坐在那很OK 很背包式的浪漫
很想好好的找個角落切很多蕃茄洋蔥 HERB CUCUMBER 做沙拉煮一頓飯烤大版燒

3/19早早的去FERRY CHECK In 邊等候邊觀察邊寫心得
陽光燦燦的旅行緩緩退後的峽灣很美卻不是最重要的
到了威靈頓我挑戰自己省錢的能力連SHUTTLE也沒搭
就拖著行李對著地圖網RAILWAY STATION去
開始在漸冷漸黑的天色中問住宿但不是太貴就是遠或是滿了
這時的我一職以為我的巴士是早上八點還要扣除我再拖行李去等車的時間
所以我一直不想往太市中心走漫無目的只是要找個SHELTER 順邊晃晃
也許BBH有機會
只希望有個24小時的咖啡店 BAR 等等
路上去了歐風MALL 還有心情照相等天更黑路開始上坡
兩隻手掌輪流拖行李都痛了肩膀也揹背包背得鐵了連臗關節也好像拐得怪怪的
在走向ROSEMERE的路上有
一對COUPLE看我全身家當還對地圖好心問我是迷路了嗎 are you all right?
在該死陡坡柏油路我倒著走好拉行李又有另一對朋友看我快撞上路燈喊我停下來，
我自己也覺得好笑，她們也說為什麼backpacker要開在hill上
總之氣喘吁吁的再度問不到住宿就放棄走向burger king
他門上寫著 8am-6am應該ok的
我挑了一個會看見去櫃檯點餐必經的坐位坐下吃了一餐也許凌晨再來杯咖啡
只是越晚越多NIGHT PEOPLE 狂歡微醉鬧事又非常吵
我靜靜的閱讀不想示弱指針八點十點十二點
甚至有個怪女故意從椅子上跌下搞笑故意說椅子壞掉
還跟店員保全吵架打起來揮拳甩巴掌罵髒話亂踢朋友也攔不住

亂糟糟的夜晚連警察也來了也不斷在巡邏來紐西蘭五個月還沒看過警察工作?
也許我都呆在太寧靜的地方了
有個阿伯是我覺得最正常最有溫度的人走過最合tone
這個晚上我第一次微笑
後來快兩點了時候阿伯到我對面坐下問我會不會說英文
比了我的行李問我晚上去哪住
我說都滿了也許在這呆到天亮去搭巴士
阿伯說兩點之後他們就會趕人了問我試過哪幾家要不要去YMCA試試看
我其實想在BK觀察整晚的
也不想再走路再扛東西了
但好心阿伯幫我拿食物袋跟背包領著我去YHA
路上還是像信義區晚上的PARTY NIGHT
年齡層is by my age even order
問了阿伯她說這就是正常的Friday night

阿伯很好心的把事情原委告訴yha的night staff，Angus from UK他說YHA滿了，但他偷偷讓我留在STAFF ROOM，而他晚上值班都會在外面於是，經過這兩個溫暖了人的幫助，我有三個小時的床可以躺下休息。我想沒有阿伯用NATIVE SPEAKING跟長輩的解釋，我應該還是得wander all night的!一開始在BK只覺得像是台灣的跨年夜，喧嘩熱鬧，很沒有安全感，什麼東西都接近沒電了，離開座位又要帶著重要的家當，沒有朋友照看。
隔天一大早還是我的笨，我記錯巴士時間，一整個挫! 到了火車站找不到車，這很嚴重啊....巴士是對號的，並且一天沒幾班，錯過了就是隔天才有車，問了每台要開走的車，司機都說我的車是12點?!也很幸運我是記早了，不是記晚了!
還是花了力氣跟錢去isite上網查信，應該發了很多簡訊在求救上吧….確定了車子的時間，也收到dan回簡訊說是12點….總之為了車子我也是問了好幾次憑著抄得亂亂的紙本跟模糊的一個禮拜前的印象，上了車，一切都輕鬆了，睡睡醒醒，下車休息，吃著水果，與DAN的愛心餅乾，晚上八點，SALLY把我接到UNCLE JIM 房東的HOUSE.有了自己的床，衣櫃，櫃子，桌椅，可以好好洗個澡，吃個簡單的東西，好好把東西分門別類，好好記下這幾天的事情，MAKE MYSELF FRESH!

I felt very thankful to have a warm shower, a cozy bed, peacefulnight, and ley down all my burden.

That's it. the long story.....

I'm very thankful about those people from NZ and U.K. and all friends,Their help and concern cheered me up!

Golden Bay The Innlet

I was so switching-off and blank in relaxing the innlet...

Friday night is a crazy party night.
Night people were noisy and drunk.
There were still many party people on the street.

I don’t feel belonging to the field
It’s not my tone, my type so far

I miss you and The Innlet very much.
I felt very healthy here,
every breath through my lung,
every sound wave in my ears.

Everything is so clear, so pure
It’s so calm, so peaceful

The lovely garden and workshop,
the bridge and the creek,
my castle and the little lighthouse
were so fresh in my mind.

When it’s 8 o’clock, it’s time to have a cup of tea and chat in the lounge.
When it’s 10 o’clock, it’s time to jump into the cozy bed and watch a nice film.
When it’s 12 o’clock, it’s time to say good night to the starry sky.
When it’s 2 o’clock, it’s time to have a sweet dream. and bath in the moonlight.

until the golden ray of sunrise, comes a new day.

我記得在Arrowtown的時候

我很喜歡早起

六點半離開房間

可以看到Poplar Lodge外面草地上的兔子

然後那時存了很多E-books

每天早上就看書查單字學英文

還有遇到親切的英國爺爺奶奶

早起跟他們聊天!

我離開紐西蘭的時候還有些地方在下雪

清晨的草地枝頭會結霜

晚上要升火燒柴取暖

我猜Naseby的水壩還是整塊凍住的吧

然後在初春離開

現在的紐西蘭那些住過的家庭告訴我

已經是穿短褲短袖游泳炙熱到牧草快燒焦的春末夏初了

在R543的時候
是一段很不適合去圖書館借書的日子
總是沒時間好好讀完那些書
It was a period of being not suitable of borrowing books from the library when I have working at R543. I didn't have time to read all of them before I had to return.
下班每每超過圖書館還書時間-晚間八點半
然後我被停借了好久
終於我又來了
I was working until over when the library closes, 8.30pm
So I was punished of stop borrowing....for a month or so.
記得在學校的時候我充分地利用了每個時期的圖書館
國小國中每間教室都有同學們奉獻的課外書
那時之熱愛我爸媽都恐嚇我要把學校借回家的書撕掉
偏偏我就是愛看
When I was at school, I fully utilized the library of my school.
In the classroom we had many extracurricular books from us students.
I was so enthusiatic that my parents threatened me tearing those books.
But I read stealthily.
不過那時讀的書現在已不太認同
諸如劉墉光禹等等
倒是背了不少唐詩宋詞
Whatever, I don't agree with what I've read that time.
Something of Liu, Kuan....
But I had many many classical poetry of Tang , Song Dynasty.
高中大學開始喜歡讀一些充滿科學很有邏輯的書
倒是讀不了日文翻譯小說經常是勉強看了幾章便放棄了
還有武俠科幻的我也不排斥但不入迷也是真的
Then in high school and uni, I turn my interest into scientific logical readings.
I didn't keep patient on Japanese translation novels.
Often did I try few chapters then gave up.
About gongfu and non-logical science fiction, I didn't say no.
Honestly, it didn't obsess me.

After graduation, I read from the librery of working place, which was quite professsional.
Mostly there're whole bunch of Journals (Ab-Zy)
Now what I love to read is written by animals as the first person!
I'm interested in animal behavior, and what it is on their minds.
And still in logical science, in travelling, in real emotion, and some mentality.
